Clinical Testing - Saliva and Urine Analysis

Saliva is analysed to accurately measure it's pH or acid/alkaline balance. Then a microscopic view of the Saliva can be obtained to highlight bacterial or parasitic invasion of the oral cavity, i.e. the mouth.

This is an important test as the Acid/Alkaline imbalance, together with, any parasitic/bacterial infection can severely disrupt digestion and nutrient absorption.

Urine Analysis is probably the world's oldest clinical diagnostic tool. Specific diseases, states or conditions were correalated with the appearance, smell, and taste of urine. Even today there are places in Nepal and Tibet were local medicine men diagnose health problenms using these techniques.

Most patients appreciate non invasive tests and urine is an ideal test medium for many levels of metabolic activity.

Many organs and systems are involved in maintinaing water balance, electrolyte or mineral concentration and pH. The reactions produce byprodcuts which are reflected in the urine . These pysiological variables have been extensively studied and a great deal of data obtained.

Urine analysis can therefore identify the presence of uric acid crystals and other acid byproducts, urinary tract infections, glucose, parasites and nitrates.

Combined with the other clinical tests these enable a picture to be built up of the current state of health. A tailored treatment plan can then be initiated to help the individual to restore to optimum health.

The clinical testing can be repeated by regular check-ups to confirm that the treatment is effective.
